Community Action Now (C.A.N.) — Mission Statement
Community Action Now ignites change by strengthening families, empowering youth, advancing justice, and uplifting communities through bold advocacy and compassionate support. Our mission centers on protecting the sacred bond between parents and children, leading the fight for The New York Alienation Act, a groundbreaking legislative initiative that challenges parental alienation and defends every child’s right to a loving relationship with both parents.
Through the Inside/Out Teen Justice Summit, we equip young people with mentorship, resources, and real pathways toward their future. We proudly support Domestic Violence Survivors, offering guidance, court escorts, and legal-support connections to help them rebuild with dignity and safety. We champion families experiencing crisis by offering parenting workshops, youth enrichment support, and outreach programs that uplift those facing cancer or homelessness.
Every family deserves connection. Every survivor deserves protection. Every child deserves opportunity. Every community deserves hope.
